Told through vignettes of daily observations, Living Creative delves into the lives of modern-day creatives exploring their pursuit of authentic expression.

Mission

According to the Yale Center of Emotional Intelligence, research shows that creatives are more anxious and depressed than the average workforce. However, their emotional vulnerability offers a unique viewpoint. So why do we collectively feel undervalued for our artistic pursuits? The pressure to create for consumers. The pressure to chase accolades. The pressure to maintain a social media presence. The pressure to create for external validation rather than for genuine intention and personal fulfillment.

This film ignites crucial conversations about modern creativity: How do we harness it for our benefit, not just for consumption? It explores the aspects of an individual’s creativity while challenging traditional career definitions and spotlighting resilience, empathy, and unique perspectives.

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to creativity. Like freelancers disrupting the 9-5 corporate model, our docu-series will break from traditional formats. While each vignette follows a standard outline, it adapts to its subject, employing local DoPs or exploring new media as needed.
